Watermelon margaritas on the patio now. Coming soon... steamed artichoke with hollandaise as appetizer. Dinner will be grilled ribeye and baked tater bar. Dessert is fresh strawberries with cream.

Do you wait for the coats of the polyurethane to dry on either side of the Burger King or do you just eat it wet??:eek:
I slather it all over - it never lasts long enough to dry! The more special sauce, the better!

Not for tonight but I just rubbed a butt and a brisket for tomorrow! Did a mixture of course kosher salt and black pepper mixed 1/2 and 1/2, added some cayenne, onion powder, and paprika. I can’t wait for tomorrow

Redneck Nachos. Homemade tater chips, pulled pork, mac n cheese, baked beans, jalapenos, BBQ sauce. It's on the appetizer menu at a local BBQ joint. I order it as a meal. It is awesome and all the stuff just blends and belongs together.

That looks pretty good, Larry.

Tonight is leftover chicken soup (homemade).

Tomorrow's London broil is going in the marinade soon.

Flying solo up in the mountains so simple fare tonight...

Ran out of butter so broke into the case of canned SHTF butter I have stashed. Pretty good stuff. Not as salty as typical US butter. More like the Amish roll butter. But perfect for cooking dinner tonight.

Cajun spice rub from the BEST b'cue joint on earth.

IMG_1230.JPG

Some corn roasted in the canned butter and then a little cajun spices added for good measure.

Blackened red snapper filet.

Life is good.

Had Snapper last night. Tonight the wife got a surprise when she got home.

I showed her how to eat them and she went to town. Wouldn’t suck the juice out of the head (imagine that).

I missed mud bugs in the late spring. I need to find some for a boil soon.

LOVE THEM!

Tonight is going to be St Louis ribs and pork belly burnt ends. I'll get some pics once the smoke starts rollin'.
