Where to Start

So it's been likely decades since I last handle or even shot off a gun and with everything happening around the world it I feel a sense of urgency to at least familiarize myself with a firearm.

At this time who is holding beginners and or gun safety classes that are worth a damn to attend?

I don't really know which way to point you but I do have a couple of questions that may help narrow the choices down a bit.

Are you looking for handgun or carbine training (shotgun even)? Will you be bringing your own firearms & ammunition or will you need to rent/purchase?
