Whetstone pendant

Had a 1.5x3 soft Arkansas stone. Decided to make a viking whetsone pendant out of it.

There are commercially available versions out there, but I figured since I already had the materials, I’d make my own.

Made from Colorado jasper.

Then I have one I made from a cheap "jade" (more likely agate) stone from Amazon.



They both sharpen well.

You might want to consider adding some kind of two sided connector at the top.
If that gets stuck in something it won't snap off, and will pull you in..

I second what @B00ger said above. Would rather have a homemade from one of our members. It will go good with the blade I got from @RR.
