Which 300 AAC BO Ammo

What are the opinions for: personal defense, in the home, 7.5" ar pistol. Should the situation ever occur my back would be towards my only neighbor 99% of the time so I am least worried about over penetration and rounds exiting my house. This is my first experience with 300 BO.
 
Whatever you want really... Maybe some 110gr Hornadys for serious thump, or heavy Subs if you want to tame the bang...

One of the undisputed best 300BLK options is Barnes Tac-TX 110gr black tip.

In general, .308 varmint bullets do well in 300BLK, you just have to figure out the min velocity for said bullet.

Edit: the other super popular defensive round is the Lehigh Defense 115gr Controlled Chaos solid copper round.

220gr serria round nose flat base.

They are clocking 960FPS it has shown good expansion on water jugs so don’t see any reason they wouldn’t be a good choice for SD
