I'm looking to build a desktop to use as a media server. Great sound card, decent video, smallish HDD, good memory, fastish processor, high speed ethernet, non tower, in a case that's around or less than 17" wide. Now ... who can do that for under 300 bux?
 
Is that possible with a Raspberry Pi?
 
Thas a cool lil device...but I'll be working with analog on the business end of the sound and I'd like a good two channel stereo out, out of a 7 channel board. And a device that can either mimic android or be android compatible.
 
OK ok... yaw can stop with all the lil media players n stuff...I've been down that road already. I won't need any special anything but a good studio quality two channel out...that is a must have... 7 channels is ok as long as there's a dedicated two channel HQ out. I want something in win7 that can mimic or be android. Too simple. Sooner or later someone will catch on to my idea.
