I’ll be up there. Curious if any other forum members are going so I will know whether to wear my CFF shirt.
 
I'll be in Galax and avoiding Hillsville. My brother and I set up there for years. Made a lot of money, spent a lot of money. If you've never been, you need to go once. My good friend from here went once and described it as if you took your foot and kicked the top off of a fire ant bed. I thought he described it pretty well.

@cubrock , are you setting up as a vendor or just going to look around?
 
So what's the skinny on buying guns there again? Is it just hand guns or is it all guns that have to be shipped?

I’ll be setting up in the VFW hall with a friend. I’ll have antique firearms with me and hopefully a bunch of junk there that I can offload before we move. Hopefully, I’ll have some time to wander the town looking for treasures, too. :)

I’ll take transfers for NC folk who want to buy guns up there. Transfer fees will be donated to Jerek and Caitlin. You may or may not be able to take possession there, depending on the circumstances. Anyone interested can PM me for my cell number.

All non-antique firearms have to be shipped or delivered to a transfer dealer for an out of state buyer. Except, an NC resident can buy a long gun there from a licensed dealer or C&R holder (if it is a C&R gun).

More vendors set up at the flea market than we saw this same day last year. Hard to tell how many vendors there really are without driving and walking for a few hours.
 
Forgot about Hillsville. Been there several times. Never bought or sold a thing. Too damn hot this year. Me and my BIL went 1 year snd we had to park in Mt. Airy and walk. Got caught in a rain shower and were soaked to the bone. My leather wallet was ruined. Yall have fun.

I should have read this. My wife and I were there this afternoon w my MIL. She bought a bunch of junk and I got a meat mallet.

I went. I got a bunch of peaches and a turkey call, my wife got some junk. I made peach preserves.
