Who wants to talk reloading?

I do sometimes! Just please dumb it down to about a 3rd grade level for me.

I'm still on single stage.

I've tried 25 gr of RL15.
0.8" group at 100 yrds with un-magnified red dot optic

just loaded up 25 grains of cfe223, will see tomorrow.

That's a sub-moa group with a ~3moa dot. Pretty remarkable.

I do...I have all the equipment...took the NRA class..it sux...Took a class from Baily Boat - It was GREAT! ....went to a buddies house and loaded 500 rounds of 9mm on his xl650...all this over two years ago..and forgot everthing! I need reschooling.

Ill see about getting this moved to the Reloading forum (created after this thread)

26.0gr CFE 223 with my 64gr Winchester Power Points (soft points)

I have also loaded the same
bullets with 22.5gr RE10x and taken a deer. Alliants data tops out at 55gr for 223 but has light .308 loads, so I tried some with medium weight .223 with no issues. Haven't gone heavier than 64gr bullets though

Tested 25.0 grains of CFE223. It opened groups to inch and a half.

Even my 25 grains of RL15 opened up to 0.84"

all groups at 100 yards.

No need to look any further with this bullet.

I'm a stubborn single-stager. In a good year I'll load 10K of various calibers - that's a lotta handle pulls : ) Since moving back to NC in March I've not reloaded a single round. I've gotta get on that!

HP-38 for .38, 9mm & .40
VV320 for 9mm subs
H335 for .223
H110 for .300
A1680 for .300 subs

I've been brass prepping most of today. Wet tumbling.

I'm a true believer that everyone should start off learning from a single stage press. As your level and knowledge progress, so should your press to progressive, auto index, manual index, etc........

I loaded and tested a handful of 45acp rounds today. 200gr LSWC (my castings) over 4.5gr of Red Dot. All ran well, so I'll now run a production batch.

And I burned about (35) 308Win rounds last weekend. I should probably get busy on those.
