I guess I am. We lost power at about 6:30 pm. Western York County SC. Little 3500 watt Champion generator I scrounged up from Cabelas Saturday is humming on the front porch. Cooling fridge and freezer before we go to bed. Oh, and one light and iphone on charge, it's my internet for tonight.

Be safe man. I assume you have that genny chained/cabled to something to make sure it stays yours?

Lights flickered a couple of times around 6:30 but that's all, so far. Rain has stopped for now and still breezy with some strong gusts. I'm about 15 miles from the coast and the winds seem much stronger over there. All in all, we're much more fortunate than others.

Hope you guys stay dry. Looks like us Triangle people will have some mild weather compared to most. Everyone yell out if you need any help. I am not real smart, but I am good at grunt work.

My brother and his family live in clover. Their internet and phone went down first. He was expecting the power to go out shortly after

Thanks! If we wanted the police down here, they would need directions to get here! We live off a dirt road that's off a dirt road, if you know what I mean. And there are a few four legged watchman always on duty.

The wife said earlier the book of faces reported power out in southern Clover, but possibly has been restored already.

Good to know. I think he is in southern part of Clover. He's actually right outside of clover on Faulkner Rd if you're familiar with the area

My mom called me about 6:30pm from Belmont, NC, said she had no power. Was supposed to be back on in a few hours.

.

We never lost power, the wind has died down now. It's still raining. A lot of yard debris. Much different than when Matthew came through. I hope everyone is safe and sound.

Power back on already, didn't expect it this soon. Erectile disfunction commercial blaring at 4 am, or maybe it was a hot air fryer.....My hats off to the guy's that got it done.

Nothing here in Huntersville. Wind, rain with no power problems. Phone, TV, Internet working fine.

Western York County? I'm around the corner in Cherokee. Power kinda flickered and browned out a couple of times, but other wise good. We thought it took out the AC, because the thermostat went dead and the AC with it.. Then, after checking breakers inside and out (in the rain) discovered the thermostat used batteries! Changed the batteries and all is good. What are the odds?

Wind was really bad last night -kept me up quite a while.
This morning my street lost power for about 20 minutes or so.
