I recently went back on Netflix after about an eight month hiatus, and I barely get a movie a week now after years of getting two a week. I used to get an email saying we shipped you Movie X today, expected arrival tomorrow. Now I get an email saying we shipped it today, you can expect it in three days. Is Netflix causing this or is it the Post Office, or both?

because fast shipping and more movies out both cost them money?

Wow...you’re that one last dude that uses the mail service

Because you’re old. I say that half jokingly as we’ve met before. Everyone streams now. Did you ever go eat at the gas station in your home town?

I think the cheapest Roku is about $20.

No, I stay away from the Wicca's and the yurt-dwellers. Never had a craving for the goat burgers. Maybe some of you young whippersnappers can school me on the streaming. I do have decent internet service from Spectrum, but have been told that the movies get interrupted for buffering.

Go to www.Fast.com and run the test. Then post the result here. That’s Netflix’s test of your connection to their servers.

You might be better off buying a cheap Roku and running Netflix through it. I’ve never had a buffering problem.

That's plenty fast. The only other thing to try is the same test around 8pm when everyone in your neighborhood is streaming. With 92 (or even less than 1/4 of that), you should be perfectly good to go.

I'd heard a while back that Netflix had stopped their DVD service. I suppose you're the one last customer...

LOL I’m really sorry but this is too funny of a thread. You have pretty fast internet and don’t stream. On top of that you still mail order DVDs. Are they at least Blu-ray?

Get a Roku, appleTV, or new SmartTV (assuming yours isn’t smart), and enjoy the new age. I dropped cable 8yr ago and only stream.
