Winchester Lee-Navy

LOVE it. Really nice rifle. I have one in good shape, S.N. 91XX, and a sporterized one, S.N. 96XX (looking for parts to make as close to original as possible).

I will soon. I got 20 new made rounds from Buffalo arms.
I m new here, and just came across your older post. I recently acquired an 1895 Lee.sporter #(105##).while researching ammo/reloading/ parts../fyi are you aware of the two recent receiver failures due to case blowout..( one death/ one seriously hurt).one with buffalo arms ammunition...it is reshaped/ machined 30-40 krag... Winchester waca website has links to the events.

Yeah I’m well aware and it’s pretty well known now that you should never use Krag cases to reform to 6mm Lee navy. Buffalo arms makes newer ammunition formed from 25-06 brass that is promising and have heard good results from it so far. I have 20 rounds that I’ll test soon. People also use .220 swift but it’s just slightly shorter and could cause improper seating of the bullet.
