Definitely a pro-gun theme. At last not the usual anti-gun crap.
Reloaders might find a technical fault or two in one scene.
But it is a good movie.
Genre would be Revenge/Justice.

Pretty good movie, the final fight scene was intense. I laughed at the old indian woman talking about the agents underwear.

I really enjoyed it. The action scenes were very well done. I appreciated that the female agent wasn't the standard damsel in distress the whole time, she could give and get.

Ha, I found that a couple of days ago without seeing this thread. Put it in my list in the hopes of getting back to it.

Watched it last night, dark and had some real emotions. The depression of the American Indian for one. While there wasn't any gratuitous sex or swears for no reason... It might be too real for a 13yo, your call.

I enjoyed it.

Oh yeah she could get!! (It)

It isn't really "slow", but it isn't an easy watch. It isn't the kind of movie you put on in the background and expect to keep up with.

Is it safe for kids 13+?

I mean, no gratuitous sex and minimal f bombs.

Depends on the kid. There is a short rape scene that is integral to the plot/story. I don't recall actual nudity, but the scene is otherwise fairly intense.

Enjoyed it, hadn't heard anything about it when I watched it,but it was better than I thought it would be, as for a 13 year old there is a rape scene in the movie that may be to rough for a kid , but I leave that call to the parents

Watched it a month or so ago. Pretty good movie.

So has anyone seen his (Taylor Sheridan’s) other work?
He wrote
Wind River, Sicario, Hell Or High Water,
And now Soldado (Sicario II)
I saw Sicario. Lots of people here liked it, but I wasn't a big fan.

Have seen all but the last one, hell or high water was very good, and also enjoyed the other two, will catch Sicario 2 when it comes out
