The C&E gun show in Winston-Salem is this weekend. Located at the LJVM Coliseum Complex. Follow the big signs.

We'll be there with the kiddos and some extended family who are in town for the weekend. Who else is going?

Oh, and I'll be picking up some more stuff from Backwoods Bang Shop for transfer on Friday morning, so get your orders in with them now if you want to pick them up at the show on Saturday or Sunday!

It was a little busier than I expected. Prices on firearms looked just a little higher than last show.
Got a couple of charging handles, and some ammo.
Just a good day to walk along, drooling on guns.
 
I had to leave around 4pm, but it was a lot of foot traffic, not a lot of buyers from what I hear.

The fine folks at Ground Zero Ballistics are back with a remarkable windmill style target I love, be sure and stop by their booth on the wall and give them your money. ;)

Also I picked up 3 books from the gentleman near the office, one sounded like the true story behind Josey Wales, the other a humor book and the last one about growing up during the civil war.

Bought my good friend Nelson a belt pouch from the fine folks at Watchdog tactical.

I arrived at the same conclusion. I managed to get out without buying anything.
 
It was a pretty decent crowd. I imagine the rain helped with that. We had a good day. Got to meet a couple forum members for the first time, and get accosted by a couple of the usual suspects (@LeeMajors @eddie0225 @Glen T )

Was there a nice assortment of bolt action rifles? Looking for something to build a 6br or 6.5 creedmoor on.
 
May go back today for a second look at something that required me to ponder long and hard. :)
 
No, Just a Savage or Remington....Maybe get lucky and find something with a decent stock. I haven't been to a show in a while, but the bolt rifle selection had gotten slim last I remember.
 
I don’t know why we are against illegal drugs when the real addictions are the fine targets from the guy at Ground Zero Ballistics... :p

I had to get another one, bringing me to a total of 4, and my coworker at GRNC got himself 2 today.

Very disappointed though in how much prices are unrealistic, plus some vendors still don’t take credit cards. I was ready to pay the extra few bucks to get some rare magazines, but the vendor didn’t take credit so I had to leave him $120 shorter. :rolleyes:

Lots of vendors saying they didn’t make enough to cover table spots... :(
 
I was gonna go back and take a second look at a nice gun I saw yesterday. Thinking about all the things I could do with the money (nearly a grand OTD), I found other stuff to do today. :)

Cubrock had a few things at the Denton show that helped reset my priorities. He started me back on the road to milsurp recovery and away from the ar corruption.
