Hey guys,

The Winston Salem gun show is this weekend (5/27 and 5/28). We will be there at the Backwoods Bang Shop booth. Drop by and see us!

Who else is going?

Bringin' the wife and daughter Saturday morning. Looking for at least two M&P's.

Foot traffic wasn't too bad when I left about an hour ago. Had a vendor completely ignore me for about 15 min, saved me $1200. Seemed a lot smaller then I remembered.

Is it in the normal building or the annex where they do the ice skating (thats the one with the bleachers all around on the inside)?
I hate the ones in the smaller annex, too crowded

May try to make it out tomorrow with the gf

It is normally in the annex. Never seen it in the ice rink.

Usually about once a year or so they'll be there - it sucks cause its freaking small! ( I THINK its where they do the ice skating, I might be wrong, I just know there are concrete bleachers that start about 4 or 5' above ground level around the perimeter of the inside of the building)

I've only been once before and that was the last time they held it. To me, it seemed identical to the previous edition; same vendors and same stuff. The guy who started this thread (Backwoods) was doing most all the business in the entire show. People were walking out with multiple pistols from his booth. Little wonder since others in the show were offering identical goods at sky-high prices. I wonder how those others can survive.

I was in the market for an M&P Bodyguard which Backwoods offers for $249. In the back corner of the hall was a guy with both versions (with and without laser) both marked at $399. When I asked him which one had the wrong price, his answer was, "I don't mark the prices, I just sell the guns".

I was chatting with my CHP instructor (Paul Echols) at his booth when my wife and I heard her name announced over the PA system. Went back to the corner of the hall and they handed her a certificate good for $50 from any vendor in the show.

It was a good day!

They do ice skate in there. Thankfully, it isn't in that building this time.
