I finally figured out how to turn the auto sear spring that comes with every AK parts kit into an L shaped wire retainer.
I know people have been doing this for years but I couldn’t figure it out.
It’s easy. Chop all but two coils off the spring. Bend the rest of the wire straight first, then bend it into the L shape using your receiver as a guide. Then fold the end like it shows in the pic.
Now pour some vodka on your ruined fingers from where the hammer spring snapped you and shoot your AK like a boss.
