I'm a Brevardian, recently joined and am wondering how many members are close by. Who are you, Where are you and what are your interests. When I made my introduction I enumerated the stuff that I do. The members assumed that I was interested in becoming a vendor, but that's not quite true. As far as forums and clubs go, the members typically give and take and share skills. My level is strictly hobby. I'm not here to enhance a business venture. Rather I would like to meet guys with skills that I don't have who can share and share alike.

I'm...well you can see for yourself.....

Wait, in that first photo, is that David Jansen and the one armed man?

Ah, you see what I did there?
Two, two fugitives for the price of one (armed man).

So, like one armed and dangerous man?

I love Brevard (mostly the scenery and less the Subaru drivers), grew up just below you on the northern side of Pickens county and miss that area tremendously.

I went to an odd shop up there [Brevard] once.
Old dude ran it. It was half odd gun stuff and half used book store. My kid loved the place.
I bought a couple bags of brass that were mostly junk, but it was a cool place.

Hailing from Hickory, here. Still WNC, but not as W as Brevard. Still, I get up there occasionally for work.

I guess the last time the wife and I spent a couple nights in Brevard, it was in the summer time. We ate at a diner across the street from a fast food restaurant. We noticed a group of cars leave the FFR at one time. They returned in about a half hour, spent ten, then left en mass again. I think in the city it would be something like bar hopping or just hanging out.

There was one a few months ago. When I lived in central Texas there were small gun shows within about 80-100 miles of Killeen. There was alway something interesting at these shows. Stuff ya just didn't see everyday. Good milsurp, real nice custom jobs, amature gunsmith stuff etc.... I am sure things have change now but they always had a good supply of lever actions and cowboy stf at reasonable prices. I would almost always buy a few 94 at one of these shows and trade or sell it at the big Austin, Dallas or Huston shows.
