Assuming the gun shown in the article is similar to the one she was carrying, I don’t understand this comment…. 🤪

“If the safety had been on, it would have prevented it.”

It's funny they used that image. If you ever want to have your head spin, read about MA and Glocks.
Long story short, FFLs in MA cannot sell Glocks to MA residents. So certain FFLs have a work around, take the slide off and sell just frame. Then use a 2nd FFL for the slide. (The slide isn't restricted but for a paperwork trail that the original FFL didn't sell both items).

In MA? I didn’t know you could get a permit there. Apparently they have half as many permit holders as NC does, per USCCA data.

FWIW the Soviet State of California is trying to pass a law where all drug dealers will be charged with Murder or Attempted Murder when they get busted (in addition to the drug related charges) due to the increasing # of deaths due to amount of Fentanyl in the drugs recently.

If you can only have a 10 round mag does it really count?

*Just remember to insert the 10rd mags... silly hollywood. 🤣

whoever drafted that bill is going to be called a racist

Pretty harsh to charge her with a child endangerment charge…I bet they don’t charge crackheads and drug dealers with that when they commit a crime.
If she ran a red light and caused a car accident, would they file child endangerment?

It as if leftard communists are using the weaponized prosecutorial system again people and things they don’t like. Hmmm…. Where have we seen that recently.

Lack of common sense is now illegal in MA? I guess they are going to make the whole state a prison ala Escape From New York.

Where can I make a contribution?

One of the most sensible things I've ever heard Kommifornia try to do.

I got mixed opinions about it after thinking about it. The dealers could be charged with murder now for selling drugs, I get that but how can murder be proven without a shadow of doubt in the court system? Is this going to make that burden easier on the state? Also if I am an FFL and I sell you a gun and you go shoot Up some people by this very token I supplied the gun will they come after me for the murders too?

I say the above to think about this statement, it is California so they will take this to the extreme no doubt about it. It’s a slippery slope

North Carolina has that law on the books already that dealers CAN be charged with Murder but it is hard to prove and stick that charge.

They could try to prove that Fentanyl is a poison - shouldn't be too hard when you can point to 100k dead in a year from it.

It surprises me how many people keep unholstered pistols in purses or pockets or bags with it chambered. Lucky she didn’t kill her kid on accident and happy she won’t be carrying anymore.

Wait you have to have a 10# trigger there????
Yes and No. Pistols sold thru FFLs have the 10lb requirement if they do not have a safety. So yes, certain firearms are marketed as MA pistols that have a harder trigger pull.

Once the owner gets it, there is no requirements on the trigger pull.

I'm convinced MA has kept Apex afloat with trigger kits for S&W pistols.

And gun smiths along the other side of the border. NH does a lost of trigger mods for MA folks.

There is no such thing as an accident with a gun.
IMO with that logic there are no vehicle accidents either, or any other type. "Accident" simply means an unintentional action or consequence, regardless if it was caused by negligence, stupidity, overestimating one's capabilities, or whatever.

IMO it's government overreach, just like everything else they do. If a car dealer sells you a powerful car knowing you are going to street race it should he be charged? In that case you are endangering others as well as yourself. If a drug dealer sells you fentanyl you are only endangering yourself.

Individuals must be held responsible for their actions, not their enablers. Anything else empowers the collective and diminishes the individual, the basic premise of communism.

I don't totally disagree with you, but drug dealers have recently got shorter sentences under a lot of liberal administration's. They definitely need much longer sentences, not be heroes in their community.

The most dangerous drug dealers are big pharma. A huge percentage of drug addicts did not become that way because of "drug dealers" (illegal ones I mean).
They got hooked on drugs peddled legally and given to them by doctors.
The goal of big drug companies is simple:
Get every man, woman and child on something they are selling for the rest of their lives. Happily, politicians are helping with that as we speak with these "vaccines".

Just my opinion.

For your amusement. I will admit, for years this bodyguard was my go to during summer months for pocket carry. I never had it in holster. The lint in this thing was insane.
