No matter what you do.

I cannot find a spot in the safe for an AR15 pistol. It's too short for the rifle rack area and too big for the handgun stash area.

Won't fit on the door.

Dadgum.

Sounds like you need those rods that go down the barrel and then Velcro to the underside of the shelf.

...but mine all fit in the rifle area just fine.

Dedicated safe? Concealed compartment for easy access?

Could I guess, but this pistol is not part of the usual HD program so it stays in the safe. It is fun as hell though so it goes to the range a lot. It'd be nice to have a good in & out-all-the-time spot for it.

Those things are working well for me.

I just cut a length of PVC (either 3/4 or 1ā€) and slip it over the muzzle to reach the rest in the rifle rack. I donā€™t like putting stuff down the bore, even wood dowels.

It'll fit you just need to lean on the door a little more. Put your shoulder into it!!

Put an eye bolt on the top shelf and hang it from that. the pvc idea was the best one imo

Mine has a adjustable shelf on one side that I set at a height that my ar pistols and ars with the stock collapsed fully, fit into

I've been breaking guns down to make them fit.

But, I have to because of such a tiny safe.

Do you have a brace on it or a tube?

Put in a case and make the case fit??? Set it muzzle down in the safe???

Sorry brainstorming.....

Try a 5mm carbon fiber rod, I get them on eBay.

I had the same dilemma and solved it buy using a magnet screwed onto the back of a double notch ā€œrackā€ that allows me to move it up and down inside the safe wherever I want. Of course, I have 50-year old Treadlocks so, the interior is bare steel ...

I used a hole saw to put two holes in short length of scrap and then cut that down the middle to make two separate 2-notch racks. Got approx, 3ā€ circular magnets (maybe 4ā€? Not sure, safe ainā€™t nearby at moment) with the holes in the middle and fastened the wood to the magnet and now I can move em anywhere I need to (mine are toward the very front, ahead of the long-guns in the factory rack and on the left and right sides of my safe, right there first thing upon opening it (hope this description is sufficient?)

My Canon safe has a top shelf in it and it will hold about 3 AR pistols. Right now I have a MSAR (Steyr aug copy) ,a Rock River 7 1/2 in AR pistol and a 18 in Pistol griped Remington 870. Plus several mags

I'm waiting for a tube so long that you get shot scraping it when you run a cylinder choke.

I can't go any longer. I have to slide it in diagonally. Barely clears but stand up once I get it in, lol.
And I have a tiny safe. Surprised it fit actually.

I found a spot. :)
I have one of those doors with all the pockets on the inside. Along with that is a big fat velcro loop. Turns out the SBA3 slides right up in that and hangs there nicely.
Don't know why it didn't occur to me before. I had an AR7 in that velcro but it was easy to move somewhere else.

Hold my beer.
Yeah I got one of those too. Old Winchester M120 with a 30" full choke. I hardly ever shoot that gun but too long to wiggle in the back of the safe, it only fits right in the front. Arg.
