Last year I had a pergola built with treated wood. On a couple of pieces I have what looks like mildew. What should I put on it?

^^^ This. Try oxalic acid for cleaning, or a pressure washer soap that has a mildewcide.

Funny you should mention oxalic acid. I bought a 55# bag of it a few years back to clean the stain off my boat hull. Nothing else works. Put it on for 4 or 5 minutes and wipe it off. No more stain. Will try it over the weekend.
Thanks

Can that be used for deck railing that is painted?

This worked extremely well and easy for me on some vinyl railing and siding on north side of my house but it is rated for wood as well so another option to look at in your case. You mix it with clorox in pump up sprayer, spray it on and let it soak for few mins then just hose off with a nozzle and takes it off or did mine on north side of house. Not sure how it would do on bare wood but painted think it would work well.

We had a mildew battle when building RS's new cottage. We used fresh cut wood ad the war was ON. 50/50 Bleach and water killed it PDQ.

Homeowner wanted SunTuff on his. Structure is engineered 6x6, architectural parts are Ozco. Stone veneer columns are a wrap of veneer on reinforced concrete. LED dimmable lighting in pergola and handrails controllable via wifi. Two ceiling fans, internet, stereo and outdoor tv.

I'm currently working on a mini-me version of this covering the area in the foreground. Project includes same type of design, RGB dimmable LED (via wifi), stereo, ceiling fan, new hot tub (big and fancy!), diagonal pattern deck boards, LED etched glass railings on the sides. Also uses same SunTuff cover and a copper gutter on the back with arts&crafts copper rain chain downspout. Area of the kiddie pool is getting new 5/4, LED step lighting. Area of the grill is extended and natural gas grill mounted in exterior cabinet with concrete countertop and a mini pergola to echo the rest of the structure and LED lighting- wire lights and mini spots. Area on the right is getting another large exterior cabinet with concrete countertop with custom expoy resin art finish and wood fired pizza oven and another mini pergola to cover it. Lighting is planned to be LED wire lights supplemented by LED dimmable string cafe lights. Both exterior cabinets are to be sheathed in rough cut cedar planks in shiplap pattern. Current status- mini-me is essentially done, work is progressing on the deck extensions and exterior cabinets.

Project has been slowed by rains, some material delays, and now- Assuming I don't die from covid19........
