Even worse for foreign travel.
I'm in a tiny apartment this trip. So I can attempt to cook one meal myself in the days I don't swim after work.
No easy I'm cooking or eating anything at 9pm on swim days.
Lunch has been Chicken Caesar wrap from the Starbucks in the office park.
Lots of protein shakes.

Being more of an introvert, is rather eat alone in the apartment than alone in a restaurant. The former is quite comfortable, the latter feels isolated in a crowd. And i don't like crowds much (except at gun shows).

Get out and live a little. Doesn't sound like there are many advantages to these trips other than a swimming regiment. Maybe force yourself to get out and socialize somehow. Meet some folks. You never know what you'll learn or who you'll meet. I once randomly met a guy that pretty much saved my life.

He's done met a young school girl on the bus. Or was it a train?

Food is absolutely the best part about travel. Getting to try all the different Local Foods is one of the main reasons I go places.

I'm not a very social person outside the few activities I do. No archery in Shanghai.
If I could find a place is probably go even though I don't have my gear. I'd have to suffer the house gear.

At home my human interaction, outside family, is mostly going shopping or the gun range. Ha! That's just how I am. My experiences before leaving home for the USAF shaped my solitary tendency.
My wife couldn't understand how I could enjoy fishing by myself for hours. Now she gets it.
I can pretend to be an extrovert for short periods. I did it so well when i worked as a host at a restaurant in Boston that the manager laughed when i told her I am actually quite introverted. But the shift always left me exhausted. A true extrovert would get energized by it.

And one shooting bows.
Ha. I have a club membership in Hangzhou. I have yet to find an archery club in Shanghai.
I will have to find one if I want to reduce cabin fever.
As much as I prefer solitude, there is only so much I can take of being in a small room.

Ok. Looks like you're about 4hrs away from there. One of my co-workers is at our newest factory in Nanjing.

We have one in Shanghai, also.

I sent a request for archery info to a colleague here that mentioned one before.
I have a metro pass this time so I can get around a little.

Find some water and a fishing partner!

C'mon be adventurous on the food. "How much is that doggy in the window? The one with the waggly tail......"
