Wounded Warriors came to my dad about trying Fly Fishing, so he’s been taking classes and going on a 3 day trip in a few weeks for steelhead in Ohio.

That is cool, but steelhead in Ohio? They obviously need more funding. Who the heck steelhead fishes in Ohio? I know Lake Erie is there so there's fish, but Ohio? Damn.
My dad lives in WV. So it’s not that far of a trip for him.
He’s super excited about it, he was wounded in Vietnam in 67.
Where in the motherland does your dad live?
Weston WV
cowboy...my bad.
when i read your post i thought you meant the radio-free "doughnut hole" in WVA which borders buckhannon.
here's what i mean: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_National_Radio_Quiet_Zone
I'm from Elkins originally. Been here about 17 years. The doughnut place in buckhannon is so awesome. I think there was one in Weston if iirc.
I’m familiar with Bucknannon, it’s booming, Weston is dying.
I left there in 98 to Pittsburgh, then in 00 moved here.
Is your dad around here too? Carolina Fly Fishing Club is a great club and they work with Project Healing Waters too. They teach vets to fly fish too. That's all they do. They meet at Bass Pro in Concord.
