Don't know about the price of borax but the cheapest peppermint oil you can get is off Amazon Prime ... $10 for 4 oz and free 2 day delivery if you're a Prime member.

Got a small, local grocery or hardware store? The bigs one's don't always carry it. But the locally owned one does. Our Walmart has it too. Or you could order both off Amazon I guess.

You can pick up the peppermint oil at GNC or vitamin shop. They have a large selection of essential oils.

Our Harris Teeter carries borax.
