Yet another reason to not go to Australia...

Considering all the other shit over there actively seeking to kill you, I wouldn't worry overmuch about that one- "Typical symptoms resulting from a bite include localised pain, swelling of the site of the wound and surrounding joints, tingling and numbness of extremities." All the articles saying "extremely venomous." Seriously? Did they forget the Eastern brown snake or the Inland taipan, the world's 2 most venomous terrestrial snakes?

Good point. Most of those symptoms sound like my avergae night in a bar at age 20.
