You ready?

I sure am ready. That's a damn nice boat there. Beats paddling a kayak lol
I think I can make some room in it for you. It even has one of those padded setting down things that spin in circles on each end, with water holder tank below to pee in, that keeps pumping water in and out to wash the pee out.

Water level dropped. Just right for these prehistoric fish.

Best fighting fish in the river. A big one will ruin a 33 if you're not careful.

I used to love watching kids hook up with one when we took them fishing in our Lumber River. :D

Personally I hate those things.

They do make good coon food though.
You couldn't pay me to eat one, but they put up a better fight than a Bass.

I was actually set up for pan fish with a 1/16 oz jig and twirl tail on a light rod.

Never been one to fish for anything just to feel something pull.

Always wanted to learn one fish and learn to catch them well. :p

But many people just like to catch whatever bites. But those stupid thing will tear up a bait.

Bigger Saltwater jig with those 3-4 inch cheap white grubs if going after bowfin. Never use nice bass lures when you know the place is infested with bowfin.

I hook into a lot of them and Gars in some of the places I Crappie and Brim fish. That said, I don't mind catching and releasing them. I love to feel a fish pull on the line. I give most my freshwater fish away anyway, I eat a few brim, but much prefer saltwater fish to keep in the freezer.
