You Say You Wanna Get Away from It All?

Those stilts tell me its in a flood zone from that water source near by. Aint nobody wanna pay for flood insurance.

@Johnny how close is thAt to you?

Beautiful place!
Im curious about the black circle on the wall upstairs, why not remove that before listing the home?

I thought it was a cable, but I didn’t look too hard.

There are more cables coiled up on the floor below it. Probably had an entertainment center located there.

Nice place, would rather not have to boat in an out at certain times.

Johnny,
Do you know if it flooded? A good friend of mine had one of similar height on Moore’s Creek that had five inches in it from Matthew and over four feet during Florence. He sold it between the two and built on high ground.

Is this yours OP?

Nope, I'm on high ground. They are neighbors but definitely not friends.

It flooded during Fran, then they put it up on stilts, the property flooded during Mathew but not the house. During Florence they had water in the house, new doors, floors and kitchen since then.

If water got in it during Florance it's probably safe to say it won't get in it again, however, I still wouldn't make that bet

Not a fan of the monolith in the center of everything.
