Firearms training would be a Felony in VA.....really???????????????????? No gathering that includes guns. This law is on the books in VA, BUT with the Dems controlling everything, this bill is a way to control the state.

Code of Virginia, relating to paramilitary activities; penalty. These morons are putting forth a bill that would make it illegal to :

Teaches or demonstrates to any other person the use, application, or making of any firearm, explosive, or incendiary device, or technique capable of causing injury or death to persons, knowing or having reason to know or intending that such training will be employed for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder; or

2. Assembles with one or more persons for the purpose of training with, practicing with, or being instructed in the use of any firearm, explosive, or incendiary device, or technique capable of causing injury or death to persons, intending to employ such training for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder;

3. Assembles with one or more persons with the intent of intimidating any person or group of persons by drilling, parading, or marching with any firearm, any explosive or incendiary device, or any components or combination thereof.

Libs will try everything under the sun, and above. They are newly emboldened with their recent win of the Governor’s mansion in VA and know they can pass whatever they want.

This seems like an easy one for the SCOTUS to overturn. It’s like banning ammunition claiming the 2A only protects guns no the ability to use them. Of course the SCOTUS has been rejecting every gun case recently, so we can’t just roll over either.

The two sections you partially quoted are already the law in Virginia. The third section is the proposed new section of the law.

Why do the first two sections of the Virginia law look familiar?
A person is guilty of a Class H felony, if he:
(1) Teaches or demonstrates to any other person the use, application, or making of any firearm, explosive or incendiary device, or technique capable of causing injury or death to persons, knowing or having reason to know or intending that the same will be unlawfully employed for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder; or
(2) Assembles with one or more persons for the purpose of training with, practicing with, or being instructed in the use of any firearm, explosive or incendiary device, or technique capable of causing injury or death to persons, intending to employ unlawfully the training, practicing, instruction, or technique for use in, or in furtherance of, a civil disorder.

Of course ... that is the exact language in § 14-288.20(b) of the North Carolina General Statutes.
 
Yeah, easy to worked up about this, but it’s just more words. In fact, it seems as likely to be applied to an antifa dumbass as to a kkk dumbass, and to pretty much everyone else. I am surprised that they didn’t include all weapons in the new section.
