Your fav pocket pistol

I've had three or four of these for various peashooters and really like them. Galco Pro

Very sturdy. The "hook" keeps the holster in the pocket on draw. I get them on line for under $30 shipped. Amazon, Ebay.

OP,

Stretch your budget a bit and seriously consider a G42/43. I used to carry a Shield but over time found it to be a little bulky and a little on the heavy side. Maybe I just did not have a best holster for it, but I ended up selling it. This is what I use now to carry my G42 - DeSantis "Insider." I primarily use it as a pocket-rim holster but I can also use it as an IWB holster depending on what I am wearing. Very comfortable.

Can't really add much. I do well with my LC9 and LCP, and I do pocket carry almost everyday.
Next for me in the pocket-er roundup will be a Walther PPS M2. I know it's considered a tad big for the pocket, but I'm not scared.

This. I had a Sig 238 SAS model. It was good. Once I felt/ handled the G42 sold the Sig. The 42 disappears in front pockets and I shoot it well. Gave my Shield to the wife as a pocketbook gun and use the 42 exclusively for pocket carry. Everybody's happy! I carry a G26 as an iwb gun. Just my thoughts that seem to align with Mad Dawg and others.

What pocket holster do you guys use to avoid the entire thing coming out when you draw? The one my LCP-C came with is prone to doing that.
I'd like to hear any opinions on this also. I usually use a sticky holster for my LCP C but the back sight likes to catch on the inside of the holster causing the holster to come out with the gun.

Currently Kahr PM9 in a sticky pocket holster. Planning to move to a P938 though. I like it a lot more. Much more like EMP I carry, and 1911s and 2011s I compete with.

I have tried many pocket holsters over the years and the Mika pocket holster is the best I've ever used. A great product with awesome customer service.

I pocket carried a Kel Tec PF-9 for a while and found it to be just a touch to big and heavy for pocket carry. Wasn't bad, but always seemed to poke me letting me know it's there. Bought a LCP with the hard chrome slide when they first came out and it has been in my pocket ever since. Use a Galco pocket protector like fieldgrade and find it to be a great pocket holster.
My LCP has been 100% reliable and if you take your time, very accurate. Biggest problem I have is forgetting it's there.
As prices drop on guns lately I'm waiting on a good deal on a LCP II. Don't need it, but always good to have a back up.

Check out how Uncle George's holsters work.

Desantis Superfly, I love this holster. I carried a LCP, and now my kahr CM-9. You cannot pull it out of you tried. The "superfly" has a flap that is detachable, you can carry either front pocket, or wallet style and the flap helps to keep it from printing in your pants.

Just a update. I ended up buying a diamond back db9. With everything it was $235. I put 100 rounds through it with no problems. Going to try a few different defense loads and see what it likes. So far I'm happy with it. But 100 rounds hurts through this little thing! Lol

I'm in need of a small pocket pistol. I have a shield I carry all the time but it's too large to carry in my pocket( blue jeans normally). Thinking about a Ruger LCP. Any other small pistols I should look at? $300 max atm. Looking for a center fired, no tiny revolvers. Thanks

Mrs. P. just ditched a LCP for a Kahr CW380. $281.00 from Buds Gun Shop. We'll see how it goes.

If I'm going to pocket carry it is with my Ruger LCP Gen 2 in a Remora holster.

LCP.

Until about a week ago when on the range the takedown pin came out. For the first time ever with that gun, I heard click instead of bang. I checked it out and the slide came off in my hand with a round chambered. It is at Ruger now. It will all depend on what they say about it. Then I'm not sure though, that problem was supposed to have been fixed. I do miss it. I did drop it once and there is a scuff on the bottom of the grip. I hope they aren't going to use that as an excuse.

My M360J is fatter and heavier, but it is my current fave pocket gun by default. It's the only truly pocket sized gun I have for the time being. It's the gun I use to give my trigger finger a workout. The LCP trigger is easy compared to shooting that thing DA style.

I have used that one as well but usually cut the wire out of the top. Works just as well and conceals / feels a little better.

I remember you posting that, and I have noticed that the only thing that really "prints" in slacks is the wire at the top. That said, I shot a BUG match out of one Saturday and was reholstering back into my pocket at the end of a stage like it was on my belt without even looking because the wire keeps it open. Of course, in a defense scenario I don't know that would mean a thing.

I gave up on one-handed reholstering a long time ago. If I ever have to pull my snub, I am going to dump the whole thing and then throw it out the window as my getaway driver peels out....uh, I mean, stick it in my front or rear pocket without a holster and wait patiently for the Po-Po to arrive.

This, same as I carry, cheap, ugly, bought it to carry kayaking since it fits in a cargo pocket and I did not care if I forgot standing in the river. But it has turned out to be dependable, accurate to the range needed and best of all, it fits in a pocket, so I actually carry it.

Another P32 in front pocket if I don't have the ability to appendix carry my G26
