Your favorite deep fry oil

Depends on what I'm frying.

Chicken...Lard*
Potatoes...Beef tallow*
Green tomatoes...Bacon fat & butter*
All others...peanut oil or coconut oil


*these dishes are special and happen only 2-3 times per year and definitely not on the same plate.

I guess I should have been more specific with my question. But you answered like I should have asked @Miss Lily, but it doesn't appear to be may fryers on here besides us.
Not many people use lard or tallow anymore, I do like you, a few times a year when I can get by with it.
 
Shoot, I fry in whatever! I like lard but veggie is just alot more convenient and easier for me.
 
Peanut is my go to.
 
We used to use a 50/50 palm/soy oil but the .gov banned it for commercial use 'cause TRANS FATS! So now we have to use a 100% soy that doesn't do quite as well.ciderdonuts.jpg
Yeah, me and the wife have a part-time donut business...
