The day we first met, I ended up getting a 66-2 from you. It looked like it had spent some time laying in the bottom of a salt water aquarium. It was pitted pretty bad but the internals and the bore was/is good. Battery Oaks Custom Shop (BOCS) dismantled it and Carl at the motorcycle shop hit it with a bead blaster. I put it back together and have shot it a lot. I even carried it for a while. I still have it.You have a friend that is addicted to 66’s. I’m down to less than 10. That’s a hint!!
I think the day I met you I bought a 66 from you. Never did find those Tyler grips. How about look under your bed.

Can’t help you there except to suggest work for someone other than the governmentLike most of my problems, all I need is money 😉
You are correct. I had forgot about that one. Ironically I just picked up a 66 snub that looked pretty decent until I pulled the grips. Under the grips made the one you got from me look mint and these grips were wood! I’ve seen bad corrosion under rubber, but nothing like this under wood. The day we first met, I ended up getting a 66-2 from you. Later on, you got a 6" 66 with the linen micarta grips from me.
