I didn’t realize Gecko45 joined the forum. Welcome!I won't carry ball in 9mm. I've used it in the middle east, europe, and africa. Personally shot 17 people with it from both the M11 and the MP5. Seen a few more shot with the same and the m9. Unless it's a cns hit, it takes multiple hits to put them down. Sometimes even multiple bursts from the sub. Once we were issued the MK23 mod 0 though it was a different story. A single or double tap, and tango down.
Take him up on his offer.....trust me!Thank you Billy, I really appreciate your kindness. Hopefully I can pay it back someday

Interesting choice, must have been the Spaten, because in my experience I used the 12mm Glasers with excellent results in Antarctica and personally shot 37 eskimos with it and they were all DRT! Instant Tango down.Personally, I carry a 12mm with exploding Glasers.
Back when I stormed the beach of Normandy I found that Germans hopped up on Spaten could easily take 5-6 burst from a ma deuce.
I tried to tango with an Eskimo but lord did that fat woman stank. Once that whale blubber goes rancid in they drawers it's rough.Interesting choice, must have been the Spaten, because in my experience I used the 12mm Glasers with excellent results in Antarctica and personally shot 37 eskimos with it and they were all DRT! Now back to the mall ninjer operator killing macho stuff!
Actually smartass I served as a 351M for 20 years. If you're too stupid to look up MOS numbers, then obviously you are too stupid to be posting about shit you know nothing about. You might think you are some hot shot keyboard warrior but you come out looking like a jackass when you don't know who you are talking to.Tell the truth , you are being too humble, you were actually door gunner in the space shuttle weren’t you? After your time with Team 6 and the selous scouts.
Perhaps he/we don’t care who we’re taking too....just a thought.Actually smartass I served as a 351M for 20 years. I wasn’t in the military, so I had to Google your MOS, http://www.mosdb.com/army/351M/mos/2142/Actually smartass I served as a 351M for 20 years. Somebody in this thread is coming out lookinglike a jackasspoorly.
If you take a breath, and go back to read the thread with no bias, I think you’ll find out who.

If you read the description, it is an extension of the enlisted 35M. During the US involvement in Somalia, I was still a noncom. We accompanied most raids to collect hard intel and for field evaluation and assessment. Everyone has heard about one bad day. Every raid, up to two or three a day where in hot zones. The Rangers did the heavy stuff, but if it kicked off, everyone did their part. After WO school, the designation changed from 35 to 351. And it is not a rear position. Mostly you will be assigned to operational units. The administration is full commissioned officers.I wasn’t in the military, so I had to Google your MOS, http://www.mosdb.com/army/351M/mos/2142/
reading about that job it seems more like a staff job. What did you do that you got so many kills in North Africa?
genuine question.
Fair enough. Tone checks are borderline hazing. We’ll play nice(er). As much as I like having fun, @Bigbore5 has said he has served. We have no reason do believe he hasn’t.
Continuing to poke fun at his expense is to be calling him a liar, and disrespecting his service.
This forum is better than that, and more welcoming to new members.
Take a deep breath or ten and step back for a minute or two.. It's all in the presentation, especially when you're an unknown here.. Too much, too soon, with your chest all puffed out will never, ever win anyone over on this forum..I got interested in this forum because I thought it was a group of stand up guys who were willing to share their various experiences with other people so we could all learn. I know thete are veterans on here who have seen and done far more than I ever did.
I posted my observation of the real performance of the 9mm. Just because some people chose not to serve or were lucky enough to avoid being ordered into a combat zone, doesn't meen that other people were and are there.
I rarely mentioned anything to anyone. My wife said she was proud of me for opening up some. Now she knows why I don't usually talk to people outside of the vfw.
