ATF agent cuffed & tased

They were ass wipes thou initially because they thought he might be trying to impersonate them is that correct?

Evidently that was the report that got called in...based on what they said.

Dumbass (ATF Agent) should have just gotten on the ground, let them cuff & stuff him and then calmly tell the cops to call his supervisor. Would have been much easier. Plus, how is he supposed to go hands on with a real perp with the medical condition that he kept screaming about?

Appears so. Then the lack of compliance with guns pointed at you...

Probably why he's on cold call duty chasing down what's probably minutiae

Agreed had he complied he wouldn’t have had any issue. If he had at that point then he would be in the right.

Minutiae can turn into a turd sandwich in seconds. I sure wouldn't want him backing me up in the field if he can't fight because of a "medical condition". He should be on desk duty if that's the case.

Yeah, truth.
I suppose it's possible he was trying to game them a bit to stay out of cuffs, then stay out of the car. Requesting medical assistance is supposed to net a sympathetic/cover your butt response of the cops calling an ambulance and transport to the hospital. I think they called his bluff because at no time did I see an ambulance show up.

Edit...correction. @Jeppo has the eagle eyes and the ambulance did show up.

That ATF person protested a little too much for me to believe he was legit until solid proof was available. The tape did not answer the question of his legitimacy unless I missed something. The local LEO were answering a call about a probable fake LEO, the ATF person was told that, and his behavior fit that situation quite nicely. I hope, if he was legit, that his supervisor reams him a new one and puts him in a different position such as emptying the trash cans in the office.

Looks like the Federal man is a problem child, arrested in 2015 for shoplifting

I'm under the impression that larger cities see lawsuits like this daily, and most never see a courtroom. If this sees a courtroom the agent is going to lose.

That video is not his friend.

They could have called the local ATF office but that would be way to easy. Guess they did not bother to run the tags on the black ATF vehicle.

Had a dumbass rookie prone out and cuff a probation officer one night. The PO had an ankle monitor alert he responded to and a neighbor called the police on the black guy with a gun. The rookie proned him out basically beside his State car while he was wearing his bulletproof vest with like probation written in 4 inch letters. 🤦🏻‍♂️

That’ an excrement sammich buffet for all.
Those PD’s are paranoid sphincters. Empty hands up and two muzzles pointed at him??
Ohio has won the award of being the rudest people in the US, it looks like their LEO’s were part of the survey as well.

I hope you’re kidding.

1) Local PD rolls up on a call regarding a potential home invasion/impersonating police.
2) They arrive to a guy who won’t comply to orders and that guy has a gun on his hip.
3) The suspect continued to not comply with the cops going hands-on.
4j The suspect is still alive/not hospitalized.

His whiteness absolutely plays a role in step 4.
Look at it again with less personal bias
atf guy did not reach, it saved his life. I saw noting about the color of his skin in any of it

If he was not from the local office, he could have called the station to let them know he was going to serve papers or interview a person of interest.

The fact that the ATF fellow is not black put him at greater risk with all the mess going around about LEO blasting black people. The LEO I know are extra careful whenever a black person is involved in a tense situation. Shooting a White fellow would not make the nightly news whereas shooting a black person doing exactly the same thing would make front page in all the papers for weeks, be discussed and analysed on local and national news, cause riots and looting throughout the liberal-controlled areas in this country, prompt renewed calls for sensitivity training for all LEO, and be reported all over the western world.
