Sig P365 Macro

Saw this was leaked last week, but looks like it was released officially today. Basically a size in between the 365X and p320, uses 17rnd mags and has the specter comp build in barrel

I will have one in hand this weekend. Can’t believe I actually got a whizz bang allocated to me the same week as release.

This is really interesting to me because of how much I love my 365X. Probably have to pick one of these up.

I initially thought it sounded dumb and wanted to hate it….but damnit if that doesn’t look like an awesome pistol. I’ll probably add one to the Arsenal at some point.

Intriguing...looks like the new 17-round magazine is compatible with existing P365 models. I'm not a fan of a compesator on a defensive handgun though. I've had and carried a P365XL since they launched, love it!!

This one may grow on me with time and additional SKU's

I'm not a fan of the comp, either, but I'll maintain an open mind.

Saw that while investigation optic options for my X-Ten. My Glock 48 maybe retiring sooner rather than later.

Finally someone made a duty gun for people with tiny, tiny hands.

Let me know if it’s the same size as the P322. Looks really close. Wondering if holsters will cross fit them. That P322 is between the P365 and P320 too.

Would have rather they kept the XL barrel length and skipped the comp to get a little more oomph. I wonder if that frame module will fit an XL, though...

...and they still can't manage adding an ambi slide release. IDK what the aversion is to ambi controls on smaller pistols.

It should, I don't think anything labeled "365" doesn't work on other modules.

Based on my experience with the 365XL, they want to spare the few lefties in the world the joy of getting blisters on the base of their thumbs.

That slide release could melt steel beams after 100 rounds. It was like a heat sink.

I've been dropping it with my index finger pretty well. I still haven't swapped my mag release as I'm not having any luck with a tiny allen key, haven't tried tried the exacto knife yet.

Few places have them right now for MSRP

I own no Sigs because the price of their mags irritates me. I like to have a bunch.

Pretty standard when they're not made of plastic, but I get what you mean. Any handgun I have that isn't a Glock has expensive mags. I think CZ's, utilizing Mec-Gar mags is the only time I've been able to buy them for sub-$30. Most are in the $40 range.

I'm going to wait another six months so they can release another seventeen iterations of the 365 before I decide what to get next.

The larger the P365 gets, the less intrigued I get.

On the other hand, seeing the P365 absolutely mog Sig's flagship P320/M17 is fairly amusing.

Im still up in the air about the 365. I really want to like it and this one looks interesting as well. Makes me wonder what glock will do to compete with all these smaller high caps coming out.

I'm not a sig fan, but damn if that's not a nice size. lose the comp and either make the barrel go all the way or shorten the slide though, not sure why we want gas going up on a non-race gun.

we are getting one also. Im looking forward to pawing on it. we have an 320 x carry in the shop Im kinda fond of.

The real question -- is it drop safe?

I'm looking forward to checking these out, starting to want something to put a red dot on and I love my 365.

The P365 never had issues with drop safety.

The P320 on the other hand..... 🤕

Yeah the comp does nothing for me either. I'll wait 6-12 months for the non-comped version.

I do like that with this version, unlike the P365X & XL, when you attach a RDS you do NOT lose your rear sight.

I'm personally waiting for the P365X Macro-Micro & Macro-Medium grip modules (aka P365 & P365X sized frames with backstraps and a real 1913 rail).

That has actually been updated on the new slides for the 365(x)(l) as well, they just aren't pushing out the revamped weapons as a whole yet until inventory clears and they cashgrab as many people as they can for $300 for the new slides.

Buying a SIG weapon is like buying a video game now. All the DLC drops a year later.

I HATE modern Sig-Sauer, but the P365 is a great pistol in spite of Sig.

Would a 365xl barrel fit in this? It would basically eliminate the comp and give you a full barrel length on that side.
