No thanks. I'm already married to one. lolHere is another '03 Terminator. You could have two. Just sayin.
I've changed my thread title since I've taken the discussion totally off topic from new Mustangs to '03 and '04 Terminator Cobras
Hand built engine built by Ford's Special Vehicle Team.I know Im coming in late to all the action that started last week - but what is a Terminator Cobra? What is different from a regular?

Can't get a legitimate inspection in Wake County without them. And even if I could squeeze out a couple of illegitimate ones over the next couple of years before I get bored of this car I want the next guy to be able to get it inspected like I'll have to this week to get it tagged.Cats are overrated.
Fun fact: they were nicknamed "Terminators" because they were built to terminate the competition. IIRC, 2003 was the last year of the Camaro for a few years. GM just couldn't keep up, then or now.I know Im coming in late to all the action that started last week - but what is a Terminator Cobra? What is different from a regular?
I get that, but I'm not going to track this car, and changing exhaust once (actually twice) a year without a lift sounds slightly less fun than having a cavity filled (in my teeth @Chdamn, in my teeth.)That's what aftermarket flanged cats are for. On for inspection, off for tuned performance.
I understand that, and yeah 02. So I guess it did its job and lived up to the nickname.2002 was the last year of the Camaro/Firebird (F-Body) platform.
"Terminator" was just the name given to the project by the SVT, just like my engine is called the "Coyote," and the GT350 is called "Vodoo."
There's a guy here who has one that was built all to heck, sounded like an approaching thunderstorm, and was for sale/sail/cell/sell here. At idle that thing would scare women and small children. Just awesome. Not gonna lie, I still want a Pontiac G8 GXP. I had a Grand Prix GXP, and loved it.

Can't remember his screen name, but have shot a few matches with him. @Whit3TBSS knows him.
It's automatic, so you might be game for it.
Me? I have to have three pedals.
Of we have a TBSS lover on the forum too? My cousin has one, I wouldn't be surprised if @Whit3TBSS knew her.
Are you a member of the TBSS Forums?
What about electric cutouts? Flip a switch and cut over to something less restrictive?I get that, but I'm not going to track this car, and changing exhaust once (actually twice) a year without a lift sounds slightly less fun than having a cavity filled (in my teeth @Chdamn, in my teeth.)
Magnaflows that I ordered are basically straight through, but bolt on behind the cats. What about electric cutouts? Flip a switch and cut over to something less restrictive?
Did you get the oval mufflers, or the Magnapack bullet-style? Nice car! I bought my Mach 1 in 04, and was looking at a Cobra also. The dealer knocked a lot off the price of the Mach which swayed me, but I've always regretted not getting the Cobra. My wife loves the Mach so now I can't sell it.Magnaflows that I ordered are basically straight through, but after the cats.
Magnaflow makes two catback systems for the 03-04 Mustang Cobra. Street version and competition version. I ordered the Street version.Did you get the oval mufflers, or the Magnapack bullet-style? Video with sound after you get it installed or you're BANNED from the site....Not just the Platinum section...But BANNED from the whole site!Magnaflow makes two catback systems for the 03-04 Mustang Cobra. Street version and competition version. I ordered the Street version.
...the oval mufflers.
Count on it. I don't know that the new pipes will be that loud, but with the stock exhaust it sounds more like warp drive when I get on it with the supercharger whining. You don't really hear the engine much. Which needs to change. I had Flowmasters on my 92 Fox and they sounded great, but the MagnaFlows seem to be the choice for engine tuners. I don't have that planned just yet, but it could happen later.Video with sound after you get it installed or you're BANNED from the site....Not just the Platinum section...But BANNED from the whole site!
....Some people (me) live vicariously through you! Lol

ALWAYS hire a lawyer. My Dad has court today for his 3-in-1 ticket from the day he bought his Hellcat. Should be interesting.
Oh, he did. He'll attend the hearing too, since it wasn't just a speeding ticket.
Reckless Endangerment (3 burnouts while attempting to pass 4 cars, and the leader was apparently a NCHP)
Speeding (it was over 100mph in a 45mph zone)
Passing in a no passing zone
My hero....and he's almost 70.
...and he's almost 70.
HEY. I'm sitting right here. That's why I posted that in caps...so he could hear it.
You might be inheriting a hellcat real soon. LOLHe still owes me a Chevelle, so he's not my favorite person at the moment.
For a year at least. You might be inheriting a hellcat real soon. LOL
HEY...
In the last one in above post It's beyond me how they get away with using belly leather in these seats. There are way more on CL than I thought, ranging from $10-$20k

If you're talking about the light gray inserts in the charcoal seats, I am determining after five days of ownership that it must be cloth in these Cobra seats. Speaking of, you might be able to help me. My driver seat on the left side where it gets rubbed getting in and out the leather is surface cracking and I've been looking for a "charcoal" colored "repair, renew" kind of leather product that will have a satin finish and won't come off on clothes after applied. Any thoughts on that?In the last one in above post It's beyond me how they get away with using belly leather in these seats.

I'm pretty good with hand applied finishes if I just knew which one would be the best to get.
