Tho, "White Clam Pie" has it's appeal. 🤣 Put me down for two, preferably twins and redheads.

I've reconsidered my position on this. It's not a contender in the debates. It's not a contender at all. It'd have to be pizza for that. This is just some off the wall regional style.
 
The pizza review guy has a ton of haters, but during Covid he helped raise a literal TON of money to help small businesses. Money to keep their lights on, employees paid, whatever they needed. He raised a lot of it and he’ll always have a lot of peoples respect for that. Any wood fired pizza place should turn out pizzas like that. Real wood fired places are few and far between.

At really high temps I can see the coal vs wood thing being different, but my mind says I’d rather have a wood smokey flavor than a coal smokey flavor. But that maybe all a mental thing.

Unless it's a recent addition, there is no TV in that house accessible to him. So it has to be online Denzel clips. We just got a trial for Youtube TV in preparation for getting rid of Spectrum Cable TV, and I was able to watch Equalizer 2 today. In fact, being the Renaissance Man I (think I) am, I watched Equalizer 2, Sons of Katie Elder, and El Dorado. El Dorado included this beauty (and I don't mean the Duke): Michele Carey.

Wow...I just read the Wikipedia page on Michele Carey.

She passed away in 2018 at the age of 76. Her parents passed away not long before she did, her father a few months earlier in 2018 and her mother in 2016. And, sadly, so did her only son 12 months before she did.

Fortunately, she had 3 surviving grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
 
Coal burns hotter than wood, so the oven is hotter, you get a better char and I think it preserves the freshness of a basic tomato sauce, but I think it only works well with a thin crust and I prefer a more substantial crust.

But

Natural gas burns much hotter than coal and yet nobody praises the flavor of a natural gas pizza, so there must be something in the coal soot just as there is in the wood soot.
