My era...M16 30 round magazine pouch. At first we had these pouches with 20 rd magazines, so we stuffed newspaper in the pouches to raise up the magazines so we could get them out. Some cut the dividers to make it easier to grasp the 20 rd magazines. This is my latest arrival for surplus relics. pretty rad imo maybe a snooze for most though i'm not sure

Man that’s sharp. Every one of those I see just seem so beat up, that’s super nice. Here’s a shortened 1942 SMLE NoI MkIII Dispersal rifle. Don’t remember if I’ve posted it here.View attachment 698409View attachment 698410

Here’s the wrist when I was doing the initial forestock/handguards rebuild. When I bought it the forestock had been thinned to about nothing, handguards were missing, no barrel band-nosecap etc. I had finished the restock job but found that I didn’t like it so I removed 5 inches of barrel and redid the wood. Rather than wrestle with the complicated bayonet mount nosecap I did a duffle cut at the barrel band. Moved the barrel band back a little too. The B is short for BSA.
