Revolver Picture Thread

I have been on a S&W run lately. Added this one recently. 69-70 time frame Model 28-2 4" barrel. Came with magna stocks numbered to the gun so I saved those. Gun is really good shape except some finish wear making a nice shooter grade. Picked up some nice Eagle target style grips which look better balanced on these big ole N frames.

@Got2hav1
I really have to get me a Tyler T-grip for mine! It looks great in yours. Yes, it’s odd that the “Pony” is in a different spot.

This is my favorite hand cannon. I got a custom holster made from one of the Mcarbo Forum guys. He's on here now too. There is nothing like a giant revolver on you hip to make your day.View attachment 702333View attachment 702332
Holster is lookin as good as it did when I built it. Glad you are enjoying it. I'm sure you get alot of comments on the python and the python holster. I'll add couple pics of the holster during build for this crew to check out. Here's one after carving and tooling before painting.20221108_175418.jpgand after painting when it first got finished.20221116_161506.jpg

500 bushwacker is here

The 500 bushwacker bfr is here all the ammo I had was 500 mag today though. Took it out to the range and it got this group after the first few shots to the left of center and. Total cost after conversion and gun 2700 dollars. I'm thrilled with it it's gloriously stupid.

The break really helps the recoil the 500 grain rounds are actually pleasant. All things considering. The balance with the break is perfect I'm in love with this thing. And have the 500 bushwacker ammo coming this week.
