Must have big pockets
Nicely done brother!
Sheaths, holsters, and the occasional forged blade are my side hustles.Nicely done brother!
I'm a Blacksmith and occasionally make blades and sheaths. Maybe a dozen knives a year. All of which are unique.Sheaths, holsters, and the occasional forged blade are my side hustles
I got my folders well organized, but need to figure out a solution for my fixed blade collection and my newly started pen collection. 😆View attachment 733600
My current strategy for organizing my daily carry rotation. Carhartt tool roll. Works well. A lot of Spyderco in those pockets.
Top left shelf is my current rotation.Yeah there are boxes, tubs, and piles of blades on shelves upstairs in the gun room. That roll is just the current carry rotation.
This is my only jade scales. I like it since it’s different. I almost bought a BM Osborne with jade scales.I put jade scales on my Griptilian as well!

I got bored with my factory gray/blue scales. Jade G10 is one of my guilty pleasures. I also did my Honey Badger and a few other knives. This is my only jade scales. I like it since it’s different. I almost bought a BM Osborne with jade scales.
That’s a good looking blade.
Nothing wrong with a Delica in VG-10. I have a few 😂View attachment 738611Not purty, but it’s a daily work horse for me. I had to make 26 splices to repair where underground wires were cut last Friday, and the insulation was fossilized on the wire (14 and 10ga wire) to the point where strippers wouldn’t remove the insulation. About an hour and a half later and the job was done, all stripped with this old VG-10 blade. I just touched it up, and it’s back to shaving hair.
For the price (good Lawd, don’t get me started down that rabbit hole) I love em.Nothing wrong with a Delica in VG-10. I have a few 😂
Dude, that knife is tried and true and the proof is in your experience. I own knives from every budget level and continue to grab my more budget friendly options for days I know I'm putting in work as they are built like tanks and, if I abuse it enough to break it, I'm not crying to have to replace it. I love my Ontario knives and my Oknives that fit that bill for me.My daily carry blade is seriously outclassed in the company it keeps on this thread... However it is what I choose each day.
A CRKT M16-04Z has been riding in my jeans since 2007. To the point that all of my jeans have a worn hole in the back pocket where I carry. (I've had to start moving it to the front pocket now)
This is my third. The first one, I lost a few years ago. Bought a replacement online only to find it was a Chinese knock off... Replaced it a week later with a genuine CRKT.
CRKT seems to be like the Dallas Cowboys... people either love them or hate them.
To much information I know.

I think you're spot on about affordable working class blades. I have a $10 bush knife I got from ChThDirt 15 years ago that will not die. The Schrade that I bought as a dedicated bush knife has barely seen bark because of that thing. Not that the Schrade is super high end, but it's far higher quality than the CTDDude, that knife is tried and true and the proof is in your experience. That being said, my carry today happens to be my Medford and a cheap Chinese copy I picked up on ebay secondhand to see how it compared to my real deal. Long story short, it's a functional knife with ok fit and finish. But it's a pocket boat anchor. And generally just a cheap immitation of a great knife.

I have a "guilty pleasure" collection of cheapo Gas station quality knives that are horribly impractical but fun to look at and play with. Gives my inner 12 year old a giggle. 😆I think you're spot on about affordable working class blades. I have a $10 bush knife I got from ChThDirt 15 years ago that will not die. I love the profile on that thing! What's the blade length?View attachment 739947
I've been carrying this Kiser with an elmax blade. I'm pretty darn impressed with how its maintained an edge.
