Got some micarta scales for this Para 3 today. We’ll see how they do. It wasn’t hard getting the new ones on, but getting the old g10 off the lanyard tube was a trick.

So, I'm a fan of Kershaw knives and even bigger fan of the Blur line. I keep at least 3 in my rotation of job work, house work and going to town carry.

My job work Blur got left in a church parking lot somewhere in Chester after I had to do some body work on the wife's Corolla due to a meeting with Bambi.

I bought a Klein tool backpack and it came with a "free" knife...I thought meh, I'll carry it for my job work knife til it breaks. So far, I'm really liking this knife. I'm guessing, its H2 steel by the stamp on the blade, and I'm impressed with the edge retention. The overall profile is a bit smaller than the Blur but not a noticeable difference. The assisted opening mechanism is surprisingly smooth and fairly quick.

It's the model that has the white light and UV. Before they made the model with all three.

I like it. Very easy to carry in the pocket. I'm a back pocket flashlight carrier and it's more comfortable to sit on than a round model. A charge lasts quite a good while.

I picked up a used model 1 in Aus-8 recently. It isn't likely to replace my Spyderco PM3 in S45VN but it's a damn fine blade.

I've carried everything under the sun (manual, assisted, auto) and found myself back to manual Spydercos. Also, been loving Wharncliffe blades for a couple years...
