Did a little practice Sunday at DPRC while the bullseye guys were over there doing their thing behind us.
1.79 was the best string I had. The other 4 were somewhere between 1.96 and 1.86. Pistol strings at the same array were 2.06 on the first one and then they dipped down into the 1.8s. I'm a little faster with the rifle than the pistol. Usually. Sometimes it is the other way around for some strange reason.
Used to put large targets close by but now we're putting them a little further out and making them smaller. No 10" plates in sight. The 8" plate is the best for practice. Really have to be sure of your target but walk that edge between being in control and going as fast as possible. It's silly but it's fun.
