I saw the Horace Kephart book this evening. Will also get the Fox Fire books (forgot about them). ThanksSee if you can get the first 5 Foxfire books and Horace Kephart's "Camping and Woodcraft".
Those 6 will give you a solid "how to" if it all goes up/down.
I would also get hard copies of the same (I have all 6) for when the Kindle can no longer be charged up.
That’s a good idea.Look for cookbooks written in the 18th and 19th century. Not only are they entertaining to read, they are practical for living in the times before processed food, microwave/gas/electric ranges and refrigeration.
