True Dat!You can get the same results from dumping a handful of uncooked rice tied in a sock into the can.

I do sometimes, but boredom got me today...More power to you bud. I keep mine in the boxes so I know how much I have at a quick glance.
Hopefully this box wont be stored longAs for the dessicant packs - I get free, small ones at home depot. They come in a lot of their packaging and they just toss them out
I dont think that's crazy, a year is a long time for ammo to be stored in a metal container, rust is bad in our hobby.Giving you guys another reason to think I’m crazy, but if I’m reloading for ammo that will likely be stored for more than a year, or if I’m repacking factory ammo into sealed containers, I only do it during periods of very low humidity.

True statement lolWell ifna ya ain't got no rust then one of two things is the case. Either ya live where they store all the old aeroplanes or ya ain't got nothin to rust.
I dont think it runs resale value, you're paying for the metal and powder, not the paperI do that with all the ammo I'm storing in "the stash". I used to worry it would ruin the resale value, but who am I kidding? I won't sell ammo, that's not allowed. Pretty sure when I die my friends will stop by and take all those heavy cans away so Mrs. Jayne doesn't have to deal with them. I have such good friends.
