I thought I hit the jackpot today, 2000 projectiles for under 15cpr. I planned to load them in 300 blackout and run them through an 8” AR. Now i’m reading that the 110gr round nose may not feed reliably in an AR platform. Anyone here managed to make them work? Other than potential feeding issues, is there anything to watch out for when trying to load these in 300 blackout? I don't have a bolt gun to load them for so really want to make them work in the AR.

I think that projectile is intended for the .30 Carbine/M1 carbine.

The cartridges are going to be very short, but if they chamber on the shoulder of the brass it should work. I suspect feeding issues though.

If you can make it work I've got some .309(?) Hornady hollow points that I tried loading to the M1 carbine...horrysheet they're devastating to melon.

I almost made this same mistake but read of feeding issues. It’s a shame no one makes a 110-125gr FMJ bulk bullet for plinking.

i know i never got the 110/120 something hollow points for a 30/30 to feed properly.

with them being a round nose, load up a few dummy rounds and see if they will feed

Those are 30 carbine pills. I have some 147gn 300BLK projectiles I can swap you a few hundred. PM me if you're interested.

Thanks guys, looks like my best bet is to try to sell them and recoup some of my money to buy 125-150gr pointy pills that will work.
Hogwash. Your best bet is to buy an M1 carbine and load for it.

Trust me, buying a new gun was definitely my first instinct! Just can't swing it because of how much money I've spent lately

I have a new (to me) .30 Carbine Blackhawk and would be interested in purchasing your bullets. If you're interested and have a price, please PM me.. I think we could work something out.
