I'm no expert but I vote #3 is a different deer

Ill be the oddball, i say the same the peeling velvet just makes him look different in the first two. If you look at the tip of the main beam on the deer’s right side it look like it has the same curvature. 🤷🏻‍♂️ id try to harvest either one should they be different and the opportunity arise.

# 3, different rack.

Maybe it's just me but the white on the bellies look different as well but maybe it's just the angle

#2 is dejected, #3 just scored some doe. Different deer.

I was ready to say different until I saw that was velvet peeling off. Hard to tell. Differences in coat could be summer v winter. And that beam could probably get bent shortly after the velvet comes off. Not sure how long it takes for them to harden up all the way after the velvet comes off.

Probably the same deer. But not 100% on that.

I’m going with different. Good luck to the son in law!

Those pics are dated 8 days apart, it doesn't take 8 days for velvet to peel. The first 2 pics show that same kicker, it's not hanging velvet. The deer #3 doesn't have that kicker.

@kcult have you gotten any more pictures or has your son-in-law seen him? Curious to see if I was right.
