Got this from a CFF Member last week. Shot it today two shots at steel 120 yards, iron sights.

I think this is why @Jeppo doesn't like me very much... not certain, but it could be.

Cold1, turns out it has the original buttstock, numbered to the gun. That means it is a Deluxe, ordered with checkering. The dark blotches are ink, easily removed when I re-oil the stock. Someone did a good job inlaying the diamond, but I dunno why they didn't put one on both sides. The story is that it was won in a poker game... I might make up some more details.

It used to have a tang peep sight, and after that was removed and the wrong screws installed in the tang, someone put a Marbles rear sight on it. I plan to put another tang peep on it. The front sight is unusual... I held the aperture as a half-moon in the rear buckhorn, target on the front sight bead. I needed to hold it a wee bit higher!

Incredible that, from that distance and with those sights…

you didn’t hit the guy’s thumb. 😜

That is some good shooting! So glad it ended up in a good home...

Sooooo, fess up. Was that shot offhand or a bench?
