1911 Comp, anyone have a clue?

Have a .45 1911 comp I won for a decent price a while back at auction. Problem is I have no idea who made it for starters. It is apparently vintage which I wont argue with as it certainly has the look. Its a bushing type comp but a standard recoil spring plug will not fit under it. Either I'm having a slow moment or I'm missing something, any ideas?

Fellas I'm about 99.9 percent sure I've figured it out after weeks of scouring and watching Ebay. It appears to be an older Accu-Systems comp. It came as a kit back in the day with a Full Length guide rod and a bunch of recoil springs but most of the time when you find them it's just the comp.
