It was an attempt at humor, misplaced in the face of such immense Occult and Esoteric principles knowledge.
Well, then let's dispense with the humor and sarcasm. Go peddle your end-of-times bullcrap somewhere with folks who give a damn. I can't waste good energy on Occult and Esoteric details. The end-of-times has been a favorite for conspiracy theorists for at least 2,000 years. Sometime, somewhere, someone will be right just because they keep predicting it. It might be about 5 billion years from now when the sun runs out of fuel. Till then keep the predictions coming. Just don't waste my time.
Setting the mystical elements aside, there seems to be a growing body of scientific evidence that our sun has periodic episodes of super high energy flares and possibly even micronovas.
I went to the Suspicious Observers web site and YouTube channel to see Ben Davidson's reporting on the science showing the sun is the primary driver of climate change. In the process I also saw the evidence he puts out that shows a ~12000 year cycle of those more dangerous bouts of solar activity.
Take it as you will, and 2025 seems to be thought of as too soon for the worst effects, but it will be at or near the peak of the current 11-year sunspot cycle. That means that flare activity will be peaking, and if the power grid takes a big hit that could easily explain a big population drop.
Whether or not you are religious, the universe is even more amazingly complex and interconnected than most of us have probably been taught. Our understanding is changing almost daily, conventional theories are being debunked, and it is fascinating.
