Yes, that was a bad loss for them, losing the lead RIGHT AT THE END. Shame.

Love these endurance races with some of the highest tech in sportscars

Hoping the Chip Ganassi crew can do well with the Ford GT teams
 
Pole setting Toyota is broken on the track. Keeps stopping and then moving a bit and then stopping again.


I love seeing the on board cameras of the Prototypes...FREAKING FAST!
 
Also, watching onboard - seeing over 310kph...or on the cusp of 200mph
 
And the driver is out of the car of the #7 Toyota.
 
Also hate to see Corvette struggle after so many unstoppable years. I always came to the race for the prototypes but stayed for the GT1 v8 roar of the C6
 
Looks like a P2 car is going to be on the overall podium. They just said Toyota is reporting being hit by a P2 driver. That would make 2 cars today that P2 drivers have taken down.
 
What an incredible turn of events. Looks like a P2 car is going to win overall, unless something happens.

Also, the Corvette has clawed it's way up to the lead, fighting with 4 other potential winners in GTE Pro.
 
Also, Jackie Chan DC Racing is THAT Jackie Chan!
Mostly Chinese drivers is what he hires, trying to get more motorsports going in his home country of CHina
 
Jordan Taylor leading here at the end, go get em!

Been watching the Taylor family race in American endurance races for over a decade, great drivers!
 
Gonna be a great finish in GTE Pro! Also it's a huge shame that Toyota had problems, because the number 8 is setting some quick times.

Then Aston Martin driver took a chance and blew it.

Like the commentators were saying, not sure why he would try the overtake right there. Gutsy move that backfired.
 
Final lap, AM catching up and might be a penalty for Corvette
 
That's endurance racing. Can lose it with MINUTES to go...much like with Toyota last year.
 
Seeing the emotion on the Porsche driver's face...incredible.
I bet its got to feel so freaking incredible to, not only win your class, but OVERALL ...wow
 
hmmm front left is what got the Vette team...same side that made contact with the Aston...is that when it was damaged?
 
Just saw the ad for the PRIME video about Ford returning to LeMans...I'll be watching it tomorrow!

I wonder if it somehow caused him to lock it up on the chicane? or maybe the ride through the gravel is what did it?

Got to be one of those two things.
Heartbreaking.
Would have been nice to see an American on top again.
 
I am thankful to have seen Newman race in the 24 Hours of Daytona, though I cant remember if it was his last race there or not. I get confused, without looking at my old posters and such, about which years I was thee.
