Would you recommend taking level 1 marksmanship prior to this class?

Yes always.

BUT it depends on the person at the same time. If you can say yes to the following questions, then you are perfect for this class.

1. Are you a safe shooter?
2. Can you follow directions?
3. Can you operate the firearm in a safe manner?
4. Is the firearm sighted in and operational before the class?
5. Are you aware of your relationship of the muzzle to others while moving to point A to point B?
6. If you think something is unsafe will you STOP and SPEAKUP no matter the peer pressure?

Number 6 is critical. We run a safe range, but I never, ever want someone going through the motions. Playing Simon says with guns is dangerous.

I hope we can meet your training needs. With this class or others.
