I’m not sure I’m following the hyperbole here.

The 2A is not dead. As my old mom says, “That’s borrowing trouble."

And just because someone says it’s so, don’t make it so.

I just love threads that are inspirng and uplifting. Make you feel good to be alive and love what you have.
 
You folks need to understand that whoever and whatever runs what’s left of this country does not define who or what you are. Only you do that. If you want to wring your hands and shout the sky is falling you can. We read the news. We know what is happening.

I’m going to do what I do until I can’t. Y’all would do well to do likewise.

In the meantime, don’t post drivel like this. It discourages folks and achieves nothing.

Get up tomorrow and smile at somebody. Hug those you love, tip a waitress well, treat others like you would like be treated and don’t leave any unfinished business with your Maker. You aren’t promised tomorrow.

All that would mean is that the Fed.gov would no longer be constrained from infringing on your God-given right to defend yourself. News flash: that ship sank years ago anyway, fellow serfs.

Sure it is doomed. It is supposed to give us the tool to resist the tyranny, but we handle its fate into hands of tyrants. They cannot ban our guns, we can surrender our guns to them. So, if you think that the our rights came from the government you already have lost them.

Just repeat after me - they DIDNOT steal, take, ban. YOU lost, gave up, surrender.

Conviction required a 2/3 majority. Passing gun control takes only 50 Senate votes and Harris’ tie breaker. With the bill passing in the House, of course.

While I’m not all doom and gloom, the likelihood of gun control laws passing in the next two years is pretty darn good. Those in Washington have shown us time and again that they don’t care about the will or consent of the governed.

Even 30 million new gun owners will support common sense gun control. And then when that doesn't achieve their goal they will again want common sense gun control because everyone has already forgotten the last gun control and how well it worked. They will never stop because to them, common sense says of there are no guns in fantasy land then you can't get shot by one.
 
They can't do away with our Second Amendment without amending our Constitution, they can pass more asinine 'gun safety' laws that criminals will ignore.
Should Republicans gain the house and the Senate in the future, they can get rid of the bad laws. Wishful thinking right?
