3 lug QD adapter

Here is my situation.

I have a Gemtech Lunar-9 and it's compatible with the GM-9 Gemtech, 3-Lug Mount.

I own a Griffen 3lug mount that's 1/2x28 threaded.

I can buy a SilencerCo, 3-Lug Muzzle Device, 9MM, 5/8X24 to fit on a 300blkout barrel.

This is a $200 + dollar investment

Here is the question.

Are all 3 lug QD female / male parts interchangeable between brands?

Short answer: in theory they should be, but in reality they’re not 🙁

Since Gemtech apparently doesn’t make a 3-lug 5/8x24 muzzle device I wonder if they’d agree to fit the silencerco if you sent it and the mount to them. Heck they might have one and just not put it on the website.

I suggest this only because Liberty offered to do this for me. I eventually adjusted the mount with a file and some sandpaper and all is well. The change required was small.
