I've seen maybe three threads in the last week with 300BO in the title.

Will someone tell me what this is and if it's better than my 300blk? If it is, I'm ready to move forward.

I'm with her.

Apparently yours is black and the others have body odor is all I can figure

I always think “body odor”.

Got any 300BO for sell?

The 300 part is what gets me.

I guess Ill elaborate my disparaging remark against white folks...

I fail to really see this one as a big deal. The .300 AAC Blackout is the formal name...also known as 300 BLK or 300 AAC. But when you see 300BO I doubt anyone is at all confused as to what it is. Most people I have talked to about the round in casual conversation just refer to it as 300 black out, so shortening it to 300BO makes sense. Not technically right, but not worth snickering behind peoples backs about. Does it show a slight lack in familiarity with the caliber? Perhaps. But it isn't like calling a magazine a clip, or all 1911's a Colt, or all revolvers a 6 shooter.

Agreed...except freakin price of pewpew
Hey I saw some Rem buckets on clearance at Academy but alas still expensive. Was hoping they'd mark them down even further. That deal you posted from ODL wasn't too bad. I need to get off my arse and reload a few thou

Mine was just light hearted humor after a longer and tougher than usual workday.

It's not pet peeve territory like someone saying "simply because" or the one word response "This" to a post.

It's a pet peeve for me. Yeah I know what they're talking about but if I have to translate I'm going to stop reading.

Im sorry but I cant even with you right now.

I've shot it for a couple of years and I didn't know 300BO was taboo, I may have used it myself but I think I usually type 300blk or 300BLK. I might start using 300BO more though, taboo sounds fun.

I worked with a guy that used to say this and also talked about all the humility in the air on hot summer days. He was from UCLA, upper corner lower Alabama.
